Aishwarya Your topic is good and you covered it completely. But the "high energy quotient" which usually goes with such topics is missing here. You can generate a lot of interest by giving examples. Let me give one or two here, about how small differences in speech make big differences in meaning. 1. This is from a novel written by Agatha Chritie from the book "Murder is announced". She writes an entire chapter taking different meanings from the sentence, "She is not there." meanings: 1. SHE is not there. 2. She IS NOT there. 3. She is not THERE. 4. SHE IS NOT THERE? So by shifting the emphasis from one part of the sentence to another, we can bring about a lot of difference in the meaning. 2. Many people were waiting in an airport for a BOING plane. As the plane started coming one kid started shouting "BOING is coming, BOING is coming". One elderly man said "Be silent". Then the kid started shouting "OING is coming, OIng is coming. All the best. Dear mam, I am very happy to see your comment.Mam you have rightly said examples would make it more interesting here are few Example 1 If once we mention a university name Andhra university in our write up then rest other places we can give it as AU to consise the matter. Needless expressions and repetition of phrases of sentences should be avoided. Using subordinate clauses at right places Example2 Correct : Because of him I need to face a problem. Incorrect : To face a problem because of him I need Example3 Having lunch This sentence is lacking a subject-who or what is having? This can be given as Ann is having lunch. your suggestions really made me to think once again thank you mam and please kaeep on sugggesting me. Regards,

Dear Aishwarya, Which C's are missing in present students as per ur opinion????????????? I will completely agree with Vijayaratna Madam's comment that you can change the entire look of this blog by including some interesting examples. But still you wrote this blog in very clear, systematic and proper way? keep it up and try to incorporate examples in such type of topic to make the topic live. I think one more C' should include that is cautiousness, because many time people forget what they are talking and in front of whom? ONE more C' is there but not so related with communication exactly that is 'creativity' one can indirectly incorporated in communication this. ok let it be.....I am just writing as I am remembering. Regards,
