Please throw some light on engineering of nano robot and the sensors that are used to detect the changes in our physiological environment and What's the driving force for the release of drug from these nano robots?? 2. Answers Que 1 =>Designing nanorobotic systems deal with vast variety of sciences, from quantum molecular dynamics, to kinematic analysis. The rules applicable to nanorobotics depend upon the nano material we intend to use. Nanomechanical robotic systems deal with science significantly different from the biological or inorganic nanorobotic systems. Eric Drexler, author of the famous book, Nanosystems: Molecular machinery, manufacturing and Computation, detailed on many areas of science which influences design of nanomechanical systems. In this review chapter on various laws which govern the designing of nanorobotics, we will concentrate on biological systems. We will consider that the components that details a nanorobot is made of biological components, such as, proteins and DNAs. There doesn't exist any particular guideline or a prescribed manner which details the methodology of designing a bio-nanorobot (bio-nanorobot implies nanorobots made up of bio components) up to the date. There are many complexities which are associated with using bio components (such as protein folding, presence of aqueous medium), but the advantages of using these are also quite considerable. These bio components offer immense variety and functionality at a scale where creating a man made material with such capabilities would be extremely difficult. Given that this technique was highlighted in a 60 minutes special, though (generating many questions from patients), I thought it would warrant a comment. John Kanzius was a radio technician who developed lymphoma. In thinking about and going through his own chemotherapy, he developed a concept of using radiowaves to heat up and selectively "cook" cancer cells. This is basically a technique similar to radiofrequency ablation, or RFA. With RFA, a probe is inserted into a tumor and radio waves are generated which heat up the area and cook the cancer. RFA treatment is limited to a tumor in a specific, reachable area of the body, carries risks of bleeding, infection, or perforation of vital organs, and does not address systemic disease (any tumor cells not located in that immediate vicinity being treated). Answers 1. Robotic technology is applicable in this system.the use of nanorobots is one of the common example of the robotic technolgy 2.Defence mechanism of the body does not affect the incorporation of the smart drug delivery system.. and the mechanical forces by the robotic technology are the forces for the release of the drugs..

pH targeted nanocarriers are used for the targeted drug delivery.. when a drug is targeted for intestine the nanocarriers give response to pH and gives the action on the target
