Job ID Number: 2014010545 Location: USA - CA - Los Angeles Job Description The Vital Sync Account Manager represents the Vital Sync product & services to our customers, and is responsible for: Supporting existing field sales teams in the creation of new Vital Sync accounts Assuring the satisfaction & retention of established Vital Sync accounts, and Driving growth at established Vital Sync accounts by promoting broader usage across care settings and adoption of new Vital Sync products and services as they become available. Ideal candidate will have a strong technical IT/IS background, experience with Hospital IT/IS system sales and/or support, and a firm understanding of the associated purchasing process. Essential functions Overall accountability for Vital Sync account customer satisfaction. Ensure customer health and satisfactions through Service Delivery, Planning & Execution and Support. Provide implementation oversight and contribute to the development of a repeatable blueprint that can be utilized in the future. Provides customer training at system Implementation and as necessary to ensure customer familiarity & competence with the Vital Sync product. Utilize data gathered during client strategy sessions to develop collateral that can be easily used by the entire RMS sales force at a high level to increase awareness of value. Demonstrate effective time management skills and be able to move effectively through all areas of the hospital, increasing chances for a shorter sales cycle and greater adoption. Proactively works with teams and clients to ensure the renewal of contracts and services. Provide project leadership for customer’s major Vital Sync initiatives. This includes sales support functions, leading implementations, project management and solutions architecting. Leads team efforts for organic growth from existing services. Works closely with the sales and marketing team to support the expansion of our solutions into new service areas (e.g. increase penetration of services). Maintains functional understanding of all R&MS businesses and products. Provides strategic input and support to the cross-functional divisional team as needed and required. Maintains awareness of competitive strategies, products and activities and communicates them internally in a timely manner. Identifies and assists resolving Account technical, operational and/or organizational problems. Coordinates service delivery with Operations and Professional Services teams - represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client solutions, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs Engages client in strategic dialogue as well as problem solving discussion. Identifies opportunities for organic growth, coordinating with client, sales and operations. Constantly assesses the value our solutions are delivering and leads team members to develop approaches that increase the value we provide and increase the impact Vital Sync has on the client’s business issues. Help to document best practices in developing and deploying VitalSync Function as a resource for “best practice” and informal customer question Success Criteria New Account Creation Accurate maintenance of New Account forecasting in SFDC Conversation of Vital Sync product evaluations to contract/sale Effective & efficient completion of Vital Sync Implementations (incl. customer training) Achievement of revenue objectives from New Accounts Account Retention Familiarity with status of Account & awareness of expansion opportunities Engagement of internal resources to support client’s needs and issues Achievement of revenue objectives from Existing Accounts Account Penetration Increased services and solutions contracted Achievement of revenue growth objectives from Existing Accounts DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Undergraduate degree required. An advanced degree is a plus Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in customer-facing positions as a technical sales or professional services consultant in the healthcare IT/IS field. Experience with modern software development methodologies, with emphasis on software and hardware architecture, infrastructure design and development and wireless technologies. Strong technical background ideally with the Microsoft stack (.Net, SQL server..etc). Strong technical project management, documentation and analytical skills. Strong understanding of software sales process preferably in a hospital or clinical environment. Strong preference for candidates with EMR / EHR and/or medical device connectivity background. Qualifications: Ability to travel domestically (50% +) Skills/Competencies: Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands. Ability to interact and communicate effectively and confidently with CxO-level personnel. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Excellent negotiation/influence, collaboration, and listening skills. Other Skills: Computer proficiency required. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE: This position reports to the Director, Integrated Patient Intelligence (IPI). WORKING CONDITIONS: • Normal office working conditions.
