Job ID Number: 2014010563 Location: USA - SC - Charleston Job Description Position Summary Covidien is seeking a Sales Territory Manager in Peripheral Vascular space. This role is responsible for driving and executing the strategic direction of the assigned sales territory to meet quota expectations by continuing positive relationships with current customers and developing new relationships with potential customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and drive the strategic direction of the assigned territory to drive growth and meet sales expectations • Consistently meets and exceeds quota QoQ and YoY • Consistently grows at or above market year over year at better than average rate • Leads with Plaque Excision as a standard of care in accounts • Effectively engages and overcomes customer objections • Effectively builds consensus, gains appropriate commitments and closes business • Sells the entire bag of products consistently • Engages Physicians in clinical conversations about the advantages of ev3 products • Aggressively keeps up on product knowledge and competitor information • Understands and demonstrates proper use of our products to our customers • Develops and executes accurate and on-going sales plan to achieve sales objectives • Effectively uses contracts to drive high compliance and pull through of all products • Drives value in accounts through disciplined pricing, resulting in strong ASPs • Effectively plans cases with physicians, manages their expectations and improves outcomes when supporting cases • Effectively plans and manages referral marketing resources to drive expected outcomes • Conducts all business with customers in a manner that adheres to healthcare compliance guidelines & FDA requirements • Monitors key market trends and competitive market information and informs sales management of relevant data/changes • Responds to customers’ needs and complaints regarding products and services • Works with internal functions (marketing, customer service, finance, etc.) to meet targets (i.e. inventory management, audits, customer service protocols, etc.) Requirements • Four year college degree required • Minimum of 3 years successful medical device sales experience. Or, minimum of 8 years of selling experience in conjunction with other medical related experience. • Knowledge and experience in operating room, hospital, and physician’s office protocol/conduct required • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results • Excellent verbal and listening skills • Basic computer skills – Microsoft Products • Presentation skills • Business planning skills • Demonstrated ability to embrace the use of technology (ex.
