Job ID Number: 2013007822 Location: Florida Job Description Position Summary Support and oversee the business development of all opportunities with Ventilation in all of the countries of the NOLA and SOLA areas. Expected travel commitment of at least 20 trips/year in the region and 2 trips/year to the U.S. Forecasting the ventilation product needs for both Puritan Bennett and AIROX products. Implementing and monitoring the strategic marketing and sales initiatives for the Ventilation COT. Overseeing the progress of regional progress and determining the prioritization required from the Covidien Latin America Miami office. Principal Accountabilities 1)Lead overall mechanical ventilation business development initiative in Latin America. 2)Develop and implement mechanical ventilation marketing and sales strategy for Latin America territory generating $15.6 million plus in sales of high tech medical equipment and accessories. Incorporate segment, pricing and gross margin initiatives within the overall strategy plan. 3)Evaluate current marketing and sales capabilities within the Latin America region and propose strategic initiatives to improve the same. 4)Visit end user customers to evaluate customer satisfaction with the products offered, understand customer needs, collect market intelligence, uncover ideas for new products and develop new strategies to meet internal and external customer needs. 5)Organize and conduct product training and seminars for internal company personnel and for external customers such as direct end-users, and independent distributors. 6)Develop and implement revenue generating programs for the Latin America region. 7)Lead and coordinate the launch within the Latin America region of new products and drive the achievement of sales targets for the same. Adapt the launch plans for the new products as needed. Requirements Education required/ preferred: Four year university degree; MBA a plus. Experience: 2-4 Years product management experience of medical capital equipment and devices. Mechanical ventilation sales experience. Respiratory therapy clinical experience a plus. Picks up on technical things quickly and can learn new skills and knowledge. Knowledgeable about how organizations work. (Organizational agility) Action oriented Business acumen Ability to come up with a lot of new and unique ideas. (Creativity) Willingness to serve others.
