Here’s how this role will help: Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential product/service markets. Identifies and monitors competitors and researches market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales. Determine the general data needs of the marketing department via regular and ad hoc data reporting. Create and update situational analyses for assigned products and/or campaigns. Keeps abreast with market developments and competitors. Manage competitive intelligence for assigned products (branded and generic). Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support forecasting process for assigned products and/or campaigns. Apply advanced analysis methodologies, interpret and present findings in clear, concise manner, including the creation and use of tables, charts, and graphics to summarize results. Make strategic and tactical recommendations based on the outcome of market research analysis. Coordinate and cooperate with cross functional colleagues at all levels. Here are the minimum qualifications for this position: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, science, or other analytical field (or equivalent) and 6 years relevant market research experience in the healthcare industry. Experience in pharmaceutical market research, sales analytics, strategic planning, or other related data management, is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must possess knowledge of primary market research techniques and their application to business issues. Experience with pharmaceutical data such as IMS. Knowledge of and ability to perform quantitative analysis, including technical and financial analysis of customers and competitors. Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications, with the ability to create & use of Excel-based models and forecasting applications. Working knowledge of PowerPoint and expertise in telling stories with graphical representations of data. Must be a strategic and creative thinker with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast changing environment. Ability to manage projects from inception to completion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Mylan?
