Description Position Purpose: Responsible for the promotion of CSL Behring products as well as development and growth of relationships with customers, including key physicians, hospital decision makers and influencers, channel customers and patients where appropriate. Executes all sales and marketing strategies and tactics within an assigned geographic area. Creates demand for promoted products while developing new accounts and supporting the growth of existing accounts. Reporting Relationships: This position reports to Regional Sales Manager Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 1. Promotes key products and usage of products to select call points including hematologists, hemophilia treatment centers, acute care hospitals, specialty pharmacies, patient groups and distributors. 2. Researches, coordinates and communicates with sales, marketing and customers throughout the region the significant information pertaining to CSL Behring products with regard to reimbursement, legislative affairs, clinical and technical updates and competitive promotional strategies. 3. Actively works with patient groups where appropriate, following CSL Behring Interactions with Consumer guidelines; has a desire to work with diverse cultures. 4. Implements contracts at the territory level for key promoted products and creates demand for their use. 5. Able to develop and execute strategic territory plans to include segmentation planning and account planning. Able to develop new business opportunities throughout each segment. 6. Appropriately manages the allocation of resources and implementation of sales plans consistent with corporate direction designed to facilitate financial growth and maximize customer relationships. 7. Stays abreast of current clinical technical literature from medical journals and other information sources. 8. Develops physician advocates and key opinion leaders for inclusion in CSL programs and events. 9. Implements key marketing programs and messages to increase market share of key promoted products. 10. Has the ability to travel on a regular basis including some weekends for select customer events. Qualifications Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Education : Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences or equivalent is required. Experience : Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical/bio-tech sales experience. Experience with patient groups, specialty pharmacy providers and distribution a plus. Competencies: Exhibits innovation which is critical for success in today’s market. Is accountable for actions. Has business acumen to facilitate the identification of sales opportunities and execution of business plans.
