Job ID Number: 2014009803 Location: USA - MA - Mansfield Job Description Position Summary: Manage supply chain from forecast input through to goods being received in the Distribution Center Ensure optimal net requirements signals are provided and communicated to manufacturing. Maintain appropriate DRP parameters. Ownership of supply chain service and inventory metrics. Lead projects and initiatives relating to Supply Chain Management with the intention of improving business performance and service. Work with all levels of Corporate and Plant Management, Product Managers, Global Marketing Managers, Corporate and Plant Planners to identify and implement supply chain continuous improvement. To carry out the planning of inventory in all locations and to match supply with demand. To realize and drive the optimal balance between service (BO and Fill Rate) and inventory, while working to reduce Logistic costs. Work with Marketing to improve forecast variance and minimize slow and non-moving inventory. Principle Accountabilities: To effectively plan and control the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to Customer Service, inventory levels, and forecast variance. To coordinate closely with and serve as the primary contact with Manufacturing, Customer Service and Marketing. To ensure that both internal and external customer needs are met, always acting with the customer in mind to ensure excellent Customer Service. To facilitate communication between Global and Regional Supply Chain groups and Shared Service Centers. To support the development and continuous improvement of Medical Supplies S&OP process. To actively plan and support new business opportunities, new product introductions, integrations and transfers. Work cross functionally with R&D, Finance, Engineering and customer service on project teams To be pro-active in improving the Supply Chain performance and to consistently meet and exceed business requirements. To actively participate in cost reduction and risk mitigation projects as well as prepare and present project updates. To be able to communicate with all levels of the organization in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. To use excellent analytical and numerical skills to understand, interpret, and utilize data and information. To work closely with Marketing to understand business shifts and improve forecast accuracy. To utilize inventory and to reduce excess stock in the Supply Chain. To work closely in cross functional teams as representative for Supply Chain Planning. To lead discussions and expedite solutions related to Supply Chain disruptions and problems. To prioritize workload to achieve deadlines in all areas. Effectively organize, conduct and follow up on meetings. To provide ongoing support and maintenance of ERP systems for changes, validation testing and upgrades. To travel and visit plants up to 10% Experience: Relevant knowledge and experience of working in a Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment. Can demonstrate sufficient previous job experience to be able to manage Supply Chain. Can demonstrate through past experience a pro-active nature and focus on continuous improvement to drive results. Proven ability to meet and maintain customer / business expectations and requirements. Education/ Knowledge: Degree level education in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain related field Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience a plus.
