Here’s how this role will help: Develop a business plan for assigned territory which clearly, accurately and efficiently describes the goals, outlines key drivers, milestones and critical steps, and is consistent with Mylan Specialty’s sales plans, strategies and objectives Identify major centers of use for Mylan Specialty products to develop and implement specific strategies for territory prescribers Establish strong relationships, resulting in true business partnerships with key stakeholders, Health Care Providers (HCP) networks, important decision makers, and influencers at all organizational and departmental levels of each assigned account and IDN system Identify, develop, maintain and leverage relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other individuals who make or influence purchasing/prescribing decisions Identify and respond to obstacles to use of Mylan Specialty products. Develop and maintain mastery of product knowledge and a consultative sales approach. Improve knowledge of Mylan Specialty products and competitive products Understand and articulate the most up-to-date, clinically approved studies to educate customers and handle questions/concerns about Mylan Specialty products Partner with the Mylan Specialty Sales/Marketing Department to maximize appropriate and effective use of selling materials and product information. Maintain current knowledge of and strict adherence to Mylan’s Standards for Interactions with Healthcare Providers, as well as all other relevant ethical standards Qualifications Make Our Values Your Values Mylan hires only the best. Here are the qualifications for this position: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3-5 years successful hospital acute care pharmaceutical sales experience (Anesthesia, ICU, OR). 10+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Strong track record of sales success and leadership in the anesthesia markets Must possess strong communication, presentation and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Superior organizational and administrative skills Strong analytical, strategic and influencing skills Must be flexible to learning new products and disease states over time Why Mylan?
