Description This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri and covers the states of Missouri, Iowa and Arkansas. The Dose Management Specialist will be responsible for sales activities including new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within this established geographic territory. This individual will share their job expertise and will provide guidance to other sales reps. Responsibilities include: 1) Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services by calling on key Baxter client accounts. 2) Implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives. 2) Providing effective sales presentations, technical and administrative product information and quotes appropriate customer prices. 3) Monitoring sales against forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory. 4) Working closely with customer service and customer operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 5) Providing feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy and any product line recommendations, revisions and pricing changes. 6) Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities. 7) Providing feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line. 8) Assisting other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications. 9) Assisting in the product launches as determined by marketing and sales management. Qualifications Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills. Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies. Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. Must have good organization and time management skills. Ability to understand and adapt to customers' changing needs. Demonstrates business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of successful, relevant healthcare sales experience. Experience working with Hospital Pharmacy Operations, healthcare IT infrastructure, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
