The Director, Solid Tumor Oncology Marketing is a key member of the Solid Tumor Marketing team; focused on maximizing the commercial potential of ABRAXANE across the 3 indications, MPC, MBC and NSCLC Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:  Proactively develop strategies and contingency plans for emerging issues management specific to the US market e.g. coordinate risk analyses, business cases and training plans  Develop strategies, messaging and materials to communicate differentiation points for Abraxane across tumors e.g. pk/ bioavailability  Develop strategies to mitigate impact of biosimilar / pan-tumor competitors in the US  Act as the pan tumor brand lead for access / pathway related strategies, working closely with channel marketing, federal account leadership, corporate affairs and PR to ensure appropriate message generation, association partnership, and issues handling  Optimize pan-tumor opportunities through execution of targeted plans with GPOs and other 3rd party organizations  Regularly interact with a cross functional team to develop long range marketing plans in support of pan-tumor strategies that maintain differentiation for Abraxane  Develop and enhance strong relationships with important external stakeholders/KOLs, which can be leveraged to raise awareness and advocacy for Abraxane differentiation  In conjunction with Market Research, provide/broaden awareness of competitive intelligence across disease areas.  Support IR/PR by informing on the latest market and product developments that may be appropriate for external communication.  As compounds progress in pipeline/through external licensing/acquisitions, incumbent will be responsible for developing strategies to support commercialization and awareness of Celegene commitment to solid tumor oncology Skills/Knowledge Required:  Proven track record of effective people management including coaching and development planning.  Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, and act collaboratively.  Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations.  Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.  Strong project/process management skills combined with managing multiple tasks/effective prioritization.  Must be able to conceptualize and articulate a vision that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.  Proven team player, particularly working with Clinical/R&D with ability to navigate cross functionally.  Ability to interact with, influence and provide direction to various functions.
