Here’s how this role will help: Establish a comprehensive, global information security strategy to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of critical information assets. Establish policies, standards and processes designed to protect information assets and manages trade-offs between investment and risk exposure. Establish procedures to address security incidents and partners with executive leadership to investigate and resolve security breaches. Remain up-to-date on regulatory changes, emerging threats and evolving technologies and implements appropriate control mechanisms and security architecture based on risks within Mylan’s environment. Chair an executive-level, cross-functional committee that drives enterprise information and technology security and risk strategies. Maintain a risk-based framework to mitigate and monitor third party risk. Establish a comprehensive, flexible internal controls framework that complies with relevant laws and regulations, in partnership with compliance functions (e.g., internal audit) and drives understanding of and adherence to internal controls across Mylan’s IT environment. Oversee comprehensive IT disaster recover processes that align with enterprise business continuity, including the establishment and validation of procedures to restore business critical services in the event of a disaster. Here are the minimum qualifications for this position: Minimum of a Bachelors or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, management information systems, business administration (or a related discipline) and minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least four being in a senior leadership role. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. The ideal candidate will understand strategic business imperatives and be able to articulate risk in the context of business objectives; he or she will have a deep working knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOX, HIPAA, ITIL, COBIT). Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or other similar credentials is preferred. Position directly supervises 25 employees and must be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our organization’s policies and applicable laws. This role will typically work within a normal office environment. Periodic travel is required. Why Mylan?
