With this warmth of introduction let me share you my debut experience on this platform. I am Dr.G.Girija Sankar working as an Associate Professor in Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. With no doubts, I immediately accepted the proposal of being a Guide to SKILLS TEST 2011. Previous competition winner Prof J Vijaya Ratna and Prof K V R M Murthy spoke high about this site. Well, all through the journey we really had great discussions fighting with a healthy and competitive spirit. In this regard I would like to thank our professors.
Coming to our team, its PHARMAPHILICS. After giving many trials, I thought this title would be apt. Our team members include Sirisha, Gangadhar and Sravani. All are presently doing M.Pharmacy in Visakhapatnam and fought with the same sportive spirit till last. I heartily congratulate them for their positive and well cooperating attitude. I must say this because, the competition somehow faced a radical decline in the mid but we and team PHARMA WARRIORS did a fantastic job!!
In my journey in SKILLS TEST 2011 I found few interesting aspects. Few queries asked by readers really made me to think on a different note. I feel that answering them made me a learner while driving the Guide chariot!! This platform had best been utilized as a source of information regarding pharma courses in various colleges. I found it constantly interesting with updates from P S Bhagavan sir, Prof. J Vijaya Ratna madam and postings regarding All India Cartoon Competitions etc.
On the dark side, I found it void in one category. The site is being operated and posted by pharma professionals mostly academicians, industrialists etc. I sincerely suggest more open discussions with research scientists. This area makes the students more comfortable to know about the present trend of research study, their interest arena etc. Sometimes, the research scientists may have sufficient funding and good area of work to focus but they lack the work force. When such notifications are released in the site, the students and so do the scientists will be benefited.
I enjoyed my journey in this site and hope to interact with more and more budding pharmacists. Thank You everyone. Good Luck!!
