It is called as dinoprostone medicinally which is an potent oxytoxic agent or abortifacient. It helps in softening the cervix and causing the uterine contraction by stimulating osteoblasts and used in bone resorption. It is also used in the inflammation conditions by supressing the T cell receptor. It works by activating and binding the PGE2 receptor.

Reserpine

Reserpine is the drug which is used in psycotic conditions and hypertension conditions. And it is an indole alkaloid obtained from the roots of rauwolfia serpentina. It is used in ayurvedic medicines.

It is mainly used in the control of high blood pressure. It acts at the membrane of intraneronal granules which stores monoamines and also depletes catecholamines and controls vascular resistance, cardiac contraction, heart rate and force of cardiac contraction.

Adrenaline

Adrenaline is also called as epinephrine or adrenalin or v,3,4-trihydroxy-N-methylphenethylamine. It is a hormone and the neurotrasmitter which is secreted from the medulla of the adrenal glands. This act as chemical mediators and produces nerve impulses to the effector organs and also produced from the sympathetic nerve fibres. It mainly explains about the autonomic system and the sympathetic functions.

It is produced in neurons of CNS and in chromaffin cells of the adrenal medulla and it is one of the group of mono amines which are called as catecholamines. It is used in cardiac arresy, anaphylaxis, athama, local anesthetics etc. It acts by binding to adrenergic receptors.

Thromboxane A2

Thromboxane A2 is also called as thrombaxane or TXA2. It has prothrombotic properties which is produced by the activation of the platelets and increases platelet aggregation which is achieved by glycoprotein complex GP Ilb/IIIa in the cell membrane of the platelets. The fibrinogen binds and makes the clot strong. It is important in tissue injury and inflammations and also known as vasoconstrictor.
