Broad angle or Open angle galucoma is a common type of glaucoma and is caused due to the slow clogging of draining canals i.e., clogging of trabecular meshwork (which is actually responsible for drain of aqueous humor). This is a chronic problem too.

In Narrow angle or Closed angle glaucom, there is closure of iris and corneal gap thereby avoinding the flow of aqueous humor from posterior to anterior chamber thereby its flow is obstructed towards trabecular meshwork.
