Iodimetry is the processes in which iodine is liberated but iodometry is the processes in which iodine is used this is oxidation-reduction type of reaction.

Answer: 

Dis is quite opposite. Iodimetry means : Direct titration with iodine n Iodometric means : Iodine will be liberated n the liberated iodine will be titrated with sodium thio sulphate by using starch ass an indicator.

Answer: 

When an analyte that is a reducing agent is titrated directly with a standard iodine solution, the method is called "iodimetry".
