Resp.Mam,?

Athlete's foot is a fungal infection of the skin that causes scaling, flaking, and itch of affected areas.

Causes: It is caused by fungi in the genus Trichophyton

Treatment: Topical antifungal agents, which can take the form of a spray, powder, cream, or gel.
? Antifungal drugs including: Terbinafine hydrochloride, Miconazole nitrate, Clotrimazole, tolnaftate Butenafine hydrochloride, and undecylenic acid.? A solution of 1% potassium permanganate dissolved in hot water can be used as alternative to antifungal drugs.
