Answer:
good future is like this that CRO(clinical research organizations) will take pharmacy student as Clinical Research associate or coordinator no matter they are Graduate or Postgraduates but they allow B.Sc. student for the same post, with a starting salary of about Rs.15000 for at least 1-2 year. Now a Pharma Post graduate and B.Sc. graduate have same level of post and earning. Now can anybody tell me what advantage is there for spending 6 years in Pharmacy................... Who advice Indian govt. to run a course like Pharmacy practice when you are introducing Pharm.D.

Answer:
As far as the future of clinical pharmacist in India in hard core clinical services it still seem to be a distant dream because there are many colleges which are offering clinical pharmacy courses but the people passing out of such colleges are either lured by industries in the area of clinical research (who are paid handsomely) and the remaining usually join the academics. there is small percentage of Pharmacy graduates who wanted to practice clinical pharmacy, they move abroad. when we look at the western scenario of clinical pharmacy they are already specialised pharmacist on similar lines of Physicinas. therefore hoping for the best to happen with the PharmD crowd coming in the market ............ Still a long way to get Regards Syed Mohsin Khadri Clinical Pharmacist Dubai
