I'll tell with an example sir.If one were to remove an electron from one of the sp3 hybridized orbital of methane CH4, a number of free radicals can be generated like CH4`, CH3` and so on. A free radical is a highly reactive species because it has an electron which is ready to be bonded to another such reactive species or a suitable electron donor.
