Gene Overexpression means that the gene is expressed more than it should be. For example, if the gene codes for a protein, there will be too much protein. In Drosophila for example, if a certain gene that makes creases in the Eyes is overexpressed, there will be too many creases and the eye of the fly will look crystalized.
